NCFM is celebrating International Men’s Day with a party in Eagle Rock, CA on Friday night, November 16, 2012 at the Fraternal Order of the Eagles in Eagle Rock. You are all invited!
It’s a celebration of International Men’s Day, one of the few days that recognizes the value of men, the event helps raises funds for the National Coalition For Men , the non-profit educational organization that addresses issues affecting men (men’s health, male domestic violence victims, sex discrimination, homelessness, fathers’ issues, etc.).
It’s $10 at the door or $7 in advance and that includes food from Dave’s Chillen & Grillen, the cheapest bar drinks in L.A. (Eagles is a non-profit, beers are about $3), and two live bands: (1) an all-female Jimi Hendrix band called Foxey Lady that plays at 9pm; and (2) a local Eagle Rock band called Buck Shot Bill that plays country rock and has members who play alot on TMZ.  Purchase pre-sale tickets at Dave’s Chillen & Grillen in Eagle Rock (address is on the flyer).  All ages are welcome. Be there by 8pm to make sure you get some food.
Please come and bring your friends and you wallets and check books! And, please spread this news far and wide. We know that most of our NCFM members will be unable to join us in person because they are scattered all over the planet. But whether you are a NCFM member or not, if your within “joining-us” distance we’d love to celebrate International Men’s Day with you.
NCFM Vice-President Marc Angelucci is organizing this event. Special thanks goes out to the Fraternal Brotherhood of Eagles for supporting our efforts and providing the venue and libation.
